Legal Team for Research and IP
The Legal Team for Research and IP creates the best, legal framework for collaborations between UCPH researchers, private companies and other external partners. The office negotiates IP agreements on behalf of UCPH thus creating the best possible legal framework to ensure that the research-based knowledge can be transferred to and used by existing or new companies.
The Legal Team for Research and IP is responsible for ensuring an optimal framework for the university's collaborations with external partners, including negotiation of all agreements related to the university's IPR (Intellectual Property Rights); e.g. research collaboration agreements, licence agreements, MTA (Material Transfer Agreements), NDA (Non-disclosure Agreements), industrial PhD and postdoc agreements.
